I’m trying to buy tickets on your site, but why isn’t my promo code discount working?!
Sorry – we know the system isn’t the easiest. Bear with us, and follow these tips.
1) Did you hear about us from any source (like the radio or a magazine) other than the LAWineFest eblasts? Then you have an ACCESS CODE. On the ticket screen, UNDERNEATH the Reserve Ticket window you see with options on the upper right side, click on the access code prompt. Do this BEFORE selecting a ticket type.
2) Type in your access code and submit. The screen refreshes, and a green bar appears at top confirming the code has been accepted.
3) Look back at the Reserve Ticket window. You have now unlocked the specially priced ticket connected to your access code. NOW select what you desire, and click on Get Tickets at the bottom of that box.
4) Review your cart, ignore that Coupon Code prompt on your way out, and check out.
We won’t call it easy, but we can call it done! Please don’t hesitate to call the back office if you need assistance. Thanks for your patience.
Is this outside?
Yes! Bring a hat. Wear sunscreen. Hydrate. Repeat.
What’s the Lyft partnership?
Click on the link below to claim your FREE $40 ride credit for Lyft (first-time users only) complements of LAWineFest. Based on your location and time of traffic, many of you will be enjoying a stress-free ride to the event for FREE.
Lyft and LAWinefest encourage ride sharing and carpooling. If you are a current Lyft user, grab a friend that has never used Lyft. Help them claim their free $40 credit and ride together for FREE.
What’s the parking situation?
There are nearby pay lots. Closest is Columbia Square parking ($15) on Gower, just north of Sunset. Almost as close is parking at Florentine Gardens ($10), 5951 Hollywood Blvd, 1 block west of Bronson. Some lucky folks will get street parking. Be responsible and consider using Lyft, which is partnering with the LAWineFest to offer great discounts for new users. Public transportation, a taxi, or pile in a car with a designated driver (who gets in for very reduced ticket price) are also all solid choices.
Can I take the Metro?
Yes! The venue is roughly seven blocks from the Hollywood/Vine stop on the Red Line.
You get a glass (to keep), which means unlimited wine and beer sampling. (For those new to wine tasting, these are tasting-sized pours so you get to try a lot of different wines safely.) All the fascinating main stage presentations. Water, coffee and La Brea breads to keep you going. Music to add to the vibe. Please note that food truck goodies and boutique products are for sale once inside the gates.

What’s this Boutique Wine Courtyard?
The incredibly popular Boutique Wine section is BACK! We have hand selected roughly a dozen boutique wineries — defined as producing 1500 cases or fewer per year — for those interested in delving into hard-to-find, limited-production wines. These gems prove that when you go off-the-beaten track, very good things can come in small packages! Given these wineries limited inventory, admission is strictly capped at 400 people per day and requires a special admission ticket.
What is included with the designated driver admission?
You pretty much have the exact same Fest experience as your friends, except you do not receive a tasting glass nor do you get a wristband that enables you to drink alcoholic beverages. If you are caught drinking out of a friend’s glass, security will escort you out of the event and your money will not be refunded.
Can I buy the wines I taste and love?
YES! Most wineries will be selling from their websites, and many will be offering special deals just for Fest attendees. Wines are not legally allowed to be sold on-premise, and security guards will confiscate any bottles being walked out of the Fest. Sorry – those are the laws.
What are the LAWineFest Popular Choice Awards?
The LAWineFest is pleased to host the LAWineFest Popular Choice Awards. And without your votes, there ARE no awards. Whether you’re a wine newbie or expert, you know what you like… and you know what you LOVE. You taste, you vote, someone wins. Simple.
Can I volunteer?
We do need a limited number of volunteers to work on both Saturday and Sunday. We also are looking for a few volunteer sommeliers to help the wineries out. A full shift gets you free admission for that day. If you are interested, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
